Description of the way to the Bergen-Belsen Memorial
By car
We would recommend you to come by car as it is difficult to
get there by public transport. The way to the memorial is indicated
on the motorways from all directions. Approximately 40 km
from the motorway exit Mellendorf and 25 km from the exit
Soltau Süd.By means of public transport
Connection to the railway (Deutsche
Bahn) exists at Celle. Several times per day buses leave
from the station to the Bergen-Belsen Memorial on weekdays and Saturdays (valid from May 29, 2008):
